My family had an unbelievable New Years Eve dinner!!! Guarantee it's the best place to eat on the island. Service and food were 5 stars. The owners are moving to Portland to start a restaurant in the U.S and I highly recommend eating here if you have the option.

Not the best place and not the place for traditional food. But definitely a good choice with great service and a beautiful setting.

The Wild Ginger is an amazing restaurant with great food, and super awesome service. Their food was delicious and the location was just perfect -- you can see the Caribbean waves crashing a few yards away. The service was amazing, knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain the dishes, how they were prepared, and the ingredients. It is amazing to find a place like this in such a remote, albeit beautiful, area in Costa Rica. When you arrive at Tortuguero, keep walking to the end of the village, and you will be glad at this amazing find. We can't wait to go back!
