Huge Walmart, has everything you'd expect and morenew and clean! Fill up before you hit the road trip through Costa Rica! Or just go back home to your couch in Alajuelabut I'd still go on a road trip!
Visit was great. People very helpful and friendly
Lots of selection. Good price. The smell in the fresh meat and deli section was not appealing.
Walmart! It is what it is. Get your souvenir coffees and Lizano savory sauce, on way to airport.
More expensive then the United States. Good produce, beer and liquor section. The selection of items is limited compared to Walmart stores in the United States. Few clothing selections available. Only saw one kind of men's shoes. Those were the $5 canvas slip on type. They do accept American currency. And debit/credit cards.
Walmart says it all. If you recognize the name, you already know what you will find and they accept US dollars.
The experience was really similar to what you are used to see in a Walmart. It is a good benchmark to see what differences Costa Rica has with your country from a food perspective!
This is a typical Costa Rican Walmart. They have lots of merchandise like the states but not everything. The clothes is pricey and brought from Mexico not the Same quality as the USA Walmart’s. But you can find lots of American styled food. Plus they have a dollar store equivalent inside.
Literally anything you need is here! Best store in all of San Jose. Price wise too! Good place to buy food and gifts/souvenirs. Only bad thing was the cashiers are so slow at their jobs!
Excelent service, variety of products and good price.
Walmart in Costa Rica is overpriced and overcrowded. I paid $38 for a small cooler that costs about $22 in the US. Save your money and find a local store instead.
Great prices and variety Less crowded during the week days!!! Easy in and out for essential goods!!!
BIGGEST WALMART IVE EVER SEEN its so much bigger than American walmarts.
Great clean store, but prices don't seem that low. Comparatively better prices are available in most Palà stores.
This is my favorite Walmart. They have a good drugstore and their cafeteria is one of the best. It is not the easiest Walmart to get to but the parking is good and they have elevators on either end of the parking lot. The meat is fresh and the produce is usually pretty good. Not a good place to shop on Monday because they are stocking the shelves and it is hard to get through.
Not the biggest selection if youre coming from north America Wal marts however as far a Costa Rica goes good place to shop and stock up
Good place to buy all you need for groceries and more. Sometimes this place runs short in some products
The little cafe in this Walmart has great food. Cheap, delicious. Get the Casado.
Has everything. Good fresh produce. Has in store cafeteria. Prices are pretty good. Have to be careful with quality.
Great bakery and really cheap local lunch plates. Also has more American products than you will find anywhere else in Central America
