Well stocked and good prices make this a good place to stock up on essentials on beer, fruits and snacks and anything else you can buy from a grocery. Nice thing is that when paying in dollars gives they give you the bank rate of the day!

Great place and will most of what you want. If you only speak English you may have some difficulties getting help on specific things. Don't get me wrong the staff tries but the majority I spoke with didn't any English (not their fault) but good thing for Google Translate which helped bridge a bit.

We started referring to this place as the good BM in Uvita. But I think the other BM has more character. Don't forget to weigh your produce at the special weighing station.

There are two BM's in Uvita - and in terms of a large supermarket, this is your only choice.
The selection is great for Costa Rica, though beware of one thing - the items on the shelves without price tags are going to be a LOT more than you anticipate you will be paying.
Great selection of liquor and wine here, and you will find a lot of those things you might not find elsewhere here just beware that if it's not a fast moving item, it's probably going to be stale ;)
