We've been blessed to discover Dominical Waverider!!! My wife, two daughters and I visit Dominical a couple of times a year, and always contact Jeanine. They tell us which beach and when to meet based on our surfing levels and what's happening with swell, tides, etc. The instructors are experienced, patient and genuinely nice people. They bring appropriate boards for us. They also bring sunblock, beach chairs, parasol, and a cooler with water and fresh fruit which make it a first class experience. Andrew from DW helped a friend who was serious about learning to surf over the course of a year, and now my friend surfs big waves in California. They take excellent care of our daughters now 8 and 10 yrs old so that my wife and I can improve our surfing while our daughters improve their surfing.

This place is the absolute BEST! They handle EVERYTHING for you. All you have to do is show up at the airport. They handle your transportation, hotel reservation, surf equipment, and activities. And the instructors are all great! Also, you can choose what type of hotel you want to stay in - from inexpensive to luxury, in the heart of town to up in the mountains. Can't say enough great things about them!

Just got back from a fantastic surf trip in Costa Rica booked through Dominical Waverider. The owner and instructors were amazing and so patient as I worked on improving my surf skills. Their care and kindness was readily apparent as they worked to ensure a memorable experience for me and the other clients that were there during my stay. I'm already looking forward to my next trip with Dominical Waverider. I can't recommend them enough!

Do not ask to use the shower if your not a client but patranize the business that is on the same property . One would think it logical to not want to drag the sand from the beach into your room but not the case ..just want to use a shower after over 20 years of giving them business

Dominical Waverider Rocks!
Had a great experience with Dominical Waverider! Andrew and Jeanine operate a first rate surf camp. My family took an intro lesson and could not be happier with the level of information provided and the personal delivery. Very safety oriented and fun packed - can't wait to take surf 201! BEST SURF EXPERIENCE! Andrew and Jeanine made our dream honeymoon/surf trip come true. From the booking of our lessons, to riding green waves in, Dominical Waverider did it right. I appreciated Andrew's attention to safety, teaching you how to look at the ocean and see what it is doing at that moment. Then to choose your wave, pop up, and have a great ride in. On our first day my husband and I were riding the whitewater in, and day two we were both catching green waves! Andrew's style of teaching will show you how to be a surfer, not just stand up on a surfboard. Thanks Waverider!
