The transportation they arranged to the attractions were mafia guys. They demended more money than they should at the end of the trip. Be careful!

Tukan Tours was the WORST part of our trip to Costa Rica. On our first day in Jaco we went into town and ended up booking a tour to Manuel Antonio National Park for the next day. We met Jerry (owner of Tukan Tours) and gave him a $20 (per person) cash deposit for the tour. We were told we would be picked up at 7:40am and driven to the park. The package was expensive ($95 per person) and supposedly covered breakfast, lunch, admission into the park, and transportation. The next morning we were waiting for the bus in our hotel lobby (as instructed) when the lady at the front desk said there was a call for us. Upon answering we were informed there was an issue with the one of the drivers and they asked if they could pick us up at 9am. I asked if we would be able to stay in the park longer because leaving at 9am was cutting into our trip time. She said yes (come to find out that the park closes at 4pm regardless of tour delays). 9am came and went. By 9:30am I asked the lady at the front desk to call Tukan Tours to see what the problem was. Jerry (the owner) then said he had never confirmed our booking but if we "really wanted to go" he could maybe send someone at 10am. At this point, our hotel made arrangements to take us to the Tukan Tours office and talk to Jerry in person because their story kept changing. When we got there we received a whole new "story" and he asked us if he could rebook for the following day. Needless to say, we asked for our money back and did not rebook our tour through them. By the time the fiasco was over it was lunch time and we had wasted half a day of vacation. Tukan Tours preys on tourists who do not speak great Spanish. Do not use them for any tourist activities.

The only way to tour in Costa Rica. Professional and Amazing with great service!! Had an awesome tour yesterday to Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfall.

Loved our tour and tour Guide Antonio! I included some pictures of our tour to Manuel Antonio National Park. It was a full day adventure for an amazing price, transportation and lunch included. It was my 2nd time in Jaco, and these giys were the best tours we have had. Give them a try!

We contacted Jerry at Tukan Tours several times during our month stay in Jaco. He had the best prices for shuttle services and was always reliable and prompt. Our trip to Tortuga Island got underway but due to rough sea and wind, the decision was made to abort the trip and try again another day. We were given a complete refund on the cost despite the fact we did have a boat ride and we did have refreshments. The attention to safety and the enjoyment of the passengers was well considered and we were very impressed as to how everything was managed. We highly recommend Tukan Tours for tours and transport while in Jaco.
