I wish I could give this place zero stars. I had an extremely similar experience to the last user. I was in the area without a place to stay. Road leading to housing was extremely dimly lit. Old man came out and rudely escorted me off the grounds without offering me a room. Additionally the old man started yelling profanities at me. I thought that he seemed very agitated and possibly even dangerous. This place does not seem safe at all. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

Right away after i open the gate older guy came shouting and Swearing in words i cant write here . Karen Hunter has created a foodie's mecca. We had a three course lunch at her establishment and it was the best meal I've had in 25 years. We started with a flax flatbread that was outstanding, better than anything you'll find at you favorite bakery. She prepared an excellent papaya salad with lettuce, papaya, papaya seed, cucumber, tomato, onion and red cabbage. It was garnished with a rich goat's cheese and had a first rate creamy dressing. She followed that with a piece of corvina on a bed of couscous, surrounded by zucchini. The fish was perfectly prepared, moist, tender, and flaky. We finished off with homemade chocolate-coconut-ginger ice cream, very rich and satisfying. If you're on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and you love food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Upon our arrival and seeing the beauty of the view from the terrace, my eyes got teary and my heart knew that we must stay at this one-of-a-kind B&B! Jack's kind hospitality and Karen's superb cooking skills made our one-night stay an unforgettable experience! Wish we discovered this gem earlier on our trip, but for now I will dream of returning there in the future for more snorkeling, beach walks, amazing food and breathtaking views

This was an absolutely amazing experience, Jack and Karen are two wonderful people as well as hosts. The food was amazing no menu, give course, need to reserve the table atleast 24 hours in advance. Sunset five course, five star opportunity like no other in the world
