Beautiful place!
Our visit here has been everything we hoped for and more! Martin was amazing at helping us set the reservations and even with planning all of our extra activities. Edsart went above and beyond to accommodate. We couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for an incredible Costa Rican experience. My family loved it!!
We just returned from our Amazon vacation. We first stayed 2 nights at the tree house lodge. It was rough but was perfect for an Amazon experience. The houses are attractively built among the trees, above regions that are flooded in the rainy season. There is cold running water in the shower. The walls are screened in so you have a 360 view of the jungle around you. Neighbors are far enough away to have privacy. Food served in the dining area was excellent and was presented in a 5 star manner. Service was wonderful. Our guide was Willy, who was phenomenal. His English was perfect and his knowledge of local Botany and Zoology was amazing . Our day trips through the waterways and to the villages were spectacular. We viewed sloths, various tropical birds, bats, piranha's, pink and grey dolphins, giant lily pads. It was a life-time experience. We followed this with a 4 night stay on the Dolphin III which was luxurious but the problem was that there was nearly complete overlap between the two experiences as far as expeditions were concerned.
One of the nicer and most unique places.
The Treehouse Lodge is an excellent location and has its own Beach I stayed in the treehouse itself which is very large for one person and is very cool decor and layout they bring you breakfast in the morning and you literally in the middle of the jungle. I found a little overpriced for what it is and sometimes it's hard to find somebody at reception which happened to me twice especially at lunch hour when Martin is on his lunch break for an hour. Etzer the owner she'll be around was very accommodating and polite. You have to try the hot tub which is fired up by natural wood
Wonderful step into nature while still having most of the comforts of home
Close to the beach plus an iguana refuge and botanical gardens on site.
Amazing place, surrounded by nature and beautiful architecture.
A very nice place to spend a weekend in touch with the nature. Near to the beaches and very accesible
Awesome location and place. Now my favorite vacation spot.
Original Boutique Hotel
Rustic in the jungle next to the beach. Staff was awesome. Will return
we have stayed a the garden house and tree house. on TripAdvisor i read a few minor reviews on the Garden house, but we could not believe that these reviews where actually real. we decided to book and all we experienced was great. the garden house is indeed close to the road , but during the week the noise had not been any different than i am used anywhere else when i stay in a hotel close to the road. i have to say that all other houses are far from the road and so they are far from traffic noise. the tree house is one big adventure. its like a dream come true. we have not seen any insects in the house during our stay. i read on spiders and ants in other reviews, but we have not seen any. they must have taken care of it. The living area is in open connection with the nature outside. in theory animals can come in, but once more we did not seen any. not even mosquitos at night. i am glad that i did not follow any bad review, cause i never would have wanted to miss our stay at the tree house lodge. great personnel and very good service on top.
