The quesidilla was a nice move away from the local dish consisting of rice, beans, chicken & fried plantains. The server was incredibly friendly and the view was wonderful. Seemed to be a fun place that hosts Canadian musicians 😁 pictures are the view from our table.

Delicious food, lovely service and if you sit outside you can catch some pretty fantastic sunsets. I ate here several times during my month stay in this area. For English speakers who aren’t fluent in spanish, there is an English version of the menu and many of the staff members speak English as well and are more than happy to help you.

Nice place, great location next to the sea. Strong nice cocktails. Food is good, not amazing. Fresh food but unfortunately the kitchen is way too slow, even when the place is only half full. Customer service very good.

Not bad, not good. Kind of a mixed bag. Fish and chips were very good. Onion ring app was good as well. Tuna salad was not good.

A long time family friend, Marco Sanchez (Amigo Realty, Playa Grande) introduced us to Costa Rica and The Beach House. The Beach House is a 30 minute drive from the house we rented in Playa Grande (Casa Dorado). We had intended to eat at our newest favorite beach front restaurant the Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo, but they were having a private party. Marco told us that for water front, we needed to try The Beach House. Marco did not disappoint.

The restaurant is open air and the view from the patio at sunset is to die for. Our server was helpful and attentive. The drink offerings were tropical and added to the ambiance. We tried the calamari and scallops for appetizers. The scallops were pretty chewy, but the scallops were delicious. Most of us partook of the lobster festival offerings. The lobsters were tenders, sweet and all around delicious. When we are back in the area we will certainly eat at The Beach House again.

The scene and ambience was second to none..a beautiful sunset followed by live music with a great guitarist .
The staff wanted you to enjoy the experience. My sea bass entree was fantastic. A memorable experience all round.
I would highly recommend.

expensive for what you get. $14 burger is a little high! The place itself is ocean front, so the view is great, but is not located on the pretty side either, so you just see ocean and beauty from far. Take bug repelent, because mosquitos are serious.

Great place to watch the sunset. Close to the water and several boats anchored just off shore. The staff was friendly. The food was solid/good.

Perfect location on the beach to watch the sunset, drinking a cocktail or an ice-cold beer. My recommendation for dinner: fresh Red snapper or shrimps. Best starter is the ceviche.
