refused to do a kolbi charge even though he had the sign.
Super cool definently felt different using different currencylol
They carry Pacific Hemp Milk!!
I have lived in Playa Hermosa for years. Prices are high, selection is minimum. Staff is attentive unless they are on their cell phones! However, close to beach and home. Luperon in Coco cheaper. I shop at Wal-Mart for most groceries, which are 10-12% cheaper than all the grocery stores around. Soon, a PriceSmart will open across from airport, for even cheaper geoceries.
Great little grocery store to shop. Competitive pricing and clean. Has anything you might need if your staying awhile.
Well stocked local supermarket. Has most of your needs. Automercado in Coco is bigger and better quality, but this is easy and close by for anyone staying in Playa Hermosa. Friendly and helpful service. Good English, and reasonable prices as licals also shop here.
Well-stocked mini mart that also has a pharmacy. Bagged ice available. English spoken by some staff.
They got everything you could need there, needed help with pharmaceuticals and they have all that there too, a laundry mat is right beside as well if you are looking too wash your cloths, I would avoid buying steak it wasn't the greatest. All in all good little store!
Nice grocery store. Not bad for Gringos who don't speak much Spanish.
For a little supermarket it has everything you need. From fresh fruits and vegetables to snacks, dairy products, juices, pop, alcohol and a pharmacy this supermarket definitely does the job
It was a great place to pick up some food items to take to the beach!
Great quick stop for groceries, they have all the basics. Fresh pineapple and avacados, what else do you need!
Great local grocery store. Usually stocked very well.
Has essential staples, and is close to Villas Sol resort, within walking distance. Supply and demand determine the pricing here. Nice store with prices to match. Produce was not very fresh, and a tiny block of cheese was $12 USD
Don't bother going to Playa Coco, this shop has everything you need in Playa Hermosa
Very nice people working here.
Beautiful place
They charged us more than the marked prices, tried to short-change us, then gave the "no comprendo" when challenged. Stay away from here.
Buen lugar
Location is great since it is so close to Playa Hermosa but price is high and the cashier try to give me less cash back since I was a tourist and was not familiar with the kronos. Caught him because he was acting a little odd. Then he quickly gave me the full amount back when I questioned him and wanted to see the receipt. Think his name was George? Pretty shady. Also an unofficial parking attendant try to ask for money (would recommend not to do so to make it less painful for future tourists).
Near the beach, good to buy food if you don't wanna spend alot in the restaurants around the beach and the resorts.
This is not an American grocery store. So if you can lower your expectations to what a typical market is like overseas, you won't be disappointed.
I visited the Super Luperon quite a bit a few years back when visiting Costa Rica. They had what we needed and were very understanding when it came to my almost absent knowledge of Spanish.
