  It is a soda run by 4-5 ladies who are very meticulous at making fresh food. The casado (platter) has the most variety of foods I've seen, and flavor is decent. The chicken was dry because the lady kept on squeezing all the juices out as she pan fried it, and she did the same to the pork chop. The juices that came with the meal were freshly made.
  
  The most memorable thing for us, however, was not the food but rather the way they were mocking someone during our meal time there. We didn't understand what was being said, only that whoever they were mocking had a very very whiny voice, the way every single person took turn imitating her. It was not done in a good humored manner. It's amazing how much you pick up without knowing much of a language. We left somewhat turned off that they would do that so openly. Can't help but wonder what they said about us after we left.

  Best Soda I have eaten at in Costa Rica ever. The ladies that run the place are great. They are trying to learn English so my wife and I write our orders in English and they figure it out. They are also trying to teach me some Spanish without much success!
