I was the lead for a group of 7 fisherman from the very start of setting up the reservations, a stop over in San Jose and then travel to Silver King Lodge Bob was truly a professional. All of us were very impressed with the Lodge and its staff made a very enjoyable stay. The fishing guides are pros. Tarpon fishing was the best. All of us agreed we needed to come back. Thanks Bob, Mike and your crew.
The second year 2018 was as good if not better than our first year, travelling from the airport to our hotel and then the next day from our hotel to to Silver King Lodge both the van and commuter flight was efficient and on time on both legs the vans was waiting for us when we arrived. First class. We were there four days food was excellent all meals,
the bar is well stocked with anything you would want to drink, good cigars.
Mike was a good host.
We enjoyed the time and are discussing our return for 2019.

Please forgive the delay in posting these pics. I went to show my son what an amazing place the Silver King Lodge is and I noticed that I had better pictures than those that had been posted. My dear friend Jeff Fox took us on an incredible adventure and we had an unbelievable time. Everything was fantastic and the fishing was top notch! Thank you Jeff for one of the best trips of my life!!!

I would like to start out by saying that that my life will never be the same after visiting the Barra Del Colorado! As a completely inexperienced fisherman yet enthusiastic traveler of Costa Rica, I can honestly say that I struck angler gold! This was my third time in country and I truly yearned for an epic fishing experience. With the help of Bob Arsenault and his staff I enjoyed not only the the best week of fishing but also amazing food, unreal atmosphere, comfortable lodging and exhilarating conversation with both employees and guests! From what I understand Bob has taken over managerial duties of the lodge and is not only intent on customer satisfaction but also the well being of the folks that make it all happen for us, the employees! During my stay I had the pleasure of meeting fellow guests from Scotland, Australia and Japan! This is a world destination people! Oh yeah, and I caught some monster Tarpin. Five total in three days, four over a 100 pounds. The last one reeled in estimated at 180 pounds and 7 ft long in the river mouth all with the help of my amazing guide Guinder. This dude knows how to catch trophy sized Tarpin and keep you entertained while you wait! This is obviously a fishing destination but also one of the most amazing places to visit on this earth in my opinion. Make sure you take the eco tour and do some casting in the lagoons. Do yourself a favor and just go! They do a great job of getting you there and back. Its perfectly safe and you'll never meet nicer people.I could definitely say more but think this review should be convincing enough! I know I will be back, Pura Vida!
