I've rent a vehicle from Sixt next to SJO for 14 days. I had booked an intermediate all wheel drive car. It should have been a Hyundai Tucson according to the website, but actually it was a Ssangyong Korando. Also it was an auto instead of a manual.
They offer a shuttle from the airport (if you call them), and to the airport.
Everything was ok with the car, I didn't have any problem. I would use Sixt again.

Good and professional service. The Shuttle from the airport was fast, we did not have to wait at all for the car. Return of the car was also very easy.

Great and friendly service, don't force you to take their damage & collision insurance like the others (Europcar) in San Jose if you have a credit card insurance for that. I will rent again with them anytime.
