The rooms were nice and clean. We enjoyed a night hike where we saw a wide range of night creatures. Ariel and Alfonso were our guides and they did a great job finding snakes, scorpions and other animals for us. The food was also very good. Hector was our waiter for one of the nights we stayed and he did a great job making sure we were well taken care of. The natural hot springs were super quiet and relaxing. We had drinks one of the nights and Kendall/Hector did a great job making our drinks for us.

We took a drive to check out Rio Perdido and our family enjoyed the place so much we decided that we will have to back and spend more time there. The hot river was amazingly beautiful and it was a nice hike. The lunch and setting over looking the landscspe and pool area was a nice treat as well. We would recommend a visit to Rio Perdido! Looking forward to next visit!

I really love the zipline it's an amazing experience. The tubing was awesome as was the hot springs. My only complaint would have been the dining experience. For approximately $50 a person the service was horrendous. The food was all right but definitely not worth the price. When you're staying there you really don't have any other choice but to dine in there. Maybe it would be a better idea to take a day trip and do the activities without staying there overnight. The ziplining was absolutely amazing I'll say it again!

Super nice! Very friendly staff with lots of knowledge of the surroundings. Good food and drinks. Rooms were up to good standards and very clean. The one thing to improve is the road to get there.. A bit long and bumpy.

Despite the difficult drive to this place, everything from the staff to the food to the rooms & pools were excellent. We only stayed 1 night but trying to reach the hot springs in the dark was difficult to say the least. They light up the bottom when you tell the staff & provide you with a dim flashlight in your room but it is virtually dark all the way down. This didn’t hinder our experience though because this was a great stop during our first visit to Costa Rica.

Absolutely stunning place. The staff is very polite, speak English and helpful. The hot water river is a fantastic experience in the middle of the jungle. There are three pools. Warm, cold and a warm pool wet-bar.
The hotel is a little bit expensive (350US) for a night but a daily pass for 40 US can be purchased and it gives access to the river and the pools. Several extra packages are available from zip-lining to horse-ride and different guided tours. A restaurant offers good food all day long. The pools open until 9PM.
In order to get there a 4wheel-drive vehicle and a GPS is a must. Be prepared to drive approx. 20km of rough dirt road and if you do not plan to stay there overnight it is strongly advised to leave well before sunset. It takes almost an hour to cover that 20km of rough and unlit dirt road.
Also, it is strongly advised to call there before planning to go to make reservation. The establishment has limited space and it it may not be possible to get in without a previous reservation. It would be a real disappointment not to be able to get in after that long and rough drive.
Over all it was a pleasant an exciting experience.

My husband and I were there the middle of December 2017. It is a unique and a beautiful place. in the middle of nowhere.. The road to get there is a little rough, but it is well worth it. It has open floor plans, each room is it's own little bungalow very nicely appointed. excellent internet everywhere many activities on site. Thermal springs and pools are amazing. Best was the staff who were friendly and helpful.

I don't know how much I appreciate my days here. 3 days wasn't enough for everything. I did zipline the first day I came. On the second day, my wife and I did a hiking trip to the mountain in front of the restaurant view. In the afternoon, we went to a natural thermal River with 5 minutes walk from our room then went to another trail to watch the sunset. At night, we went back to the thermal River around 9pm to relax (my suggestion: bring a bit of red wine) (the trail is a bit tricky so bring a Flashlight with you). This is one of the best stay I ever had in my life because the room is amazing, the staffs are so friendly, the food were delicious. The view and the hike were unbelievable. I really miss this place and people there (they're so nice, helpful and honest). If you don't come here, you'll miss a lot in your life.

Top shelf resort with thermal hot springs and fun activities. Beautiful resort great staff and great food. The place has only been open 4 years to date and they are still growing. Only 20 bungalows so far so it's never crowded. Plan ahead to reserve.

Just a lovely place! I enjoyed the modern architecture. The room was small, cute and extremely functional. It felt like being in the middle of the forest in a cozy tree house. The 3 pools were beautiful! The masseuse was very professional and I had a very relaxing massage!

Great hotel to get away from civilization for awhile. Tons of hiking trails & the rooms are amazing. The hotel rooms remind me of tree houses, that have a modern sleek interior. Everything is so far away from the hotel that if you like having midnight snacks or drinks without having to walk down to restaurant (which is steep) you should stop before & grab something. The restaurant food & drinks are great, but the drinks are pricey. To go anywhere in that hotel is a hike & you sunbelt need good walking shoes.
