++ All cakes/pizzas are very-very well cooked
++ Big portions and prices are probably the best in town (check the drink menu photo)
+ Big variety of coffee (filter, Italian, Azteco, with different tastes) and it’s properly prepared!
Overall, as for me the best bakery in town and one of the “must go” places in Puerto Viejo. Highly recommended for breakfast or for take away lunch. Its open all day from 6:45 am to 6pm, so you can go here even after beach and in the evening.response / report this review -

Luciano was the most gracious host during our stay at his fantastic accommodations.
The bakery has the most outstanding Focaccia speciale!! As well as pastries and sandwiches and don't get me started on their pastas.

This is the best spot for breakfast in town. There’s ample seating inside and four tables outside, parking right in front. The vibe is relaxed and cheerful. But the food is the standout. Truly excellent pan cakes with loads of fresh fruit (so good I had it two days in a row), pretty good huevos rancheros, covered in tomato sauce, and delicious cakes and pastries. Obviously worth repeat visits.

The croissant in this bakery is comparable to the croissants of paris.
The omelette is really good too.
The owners are italian and you can feel the italian touch in the desserts :).

Good place to have your breakfast. Prices are good and food is very good. It is located in the road that you need to take in order to reach Punta Uva.

Hands down my favorite place for breakfast or lunch in Puerto Viejo! And the BEDT COFFEE! I spent a week there this past August, and I visited De Gustibus almost every day. My favorite dish was the vegan pancakes.loaded with the freshest local fruits! You must check them out!!

Wow! This place is a true gem. It is clean and lovely with the absolute best treats. The breakfast sandwich is huge and yummy. The people are friendly and they have a lovely dog and gray cat.

This is more of a sit down bakery than a take away bakery as it's got a great atmosphere and lots of great stuff to choose on the menu.
The smoothies were pretty tasty but my particular choice lacked a little sweetness (perhaps my fault for the mixture).
All in all, however, the whole export experience was excellent and I am definitely likely to come here again real soon.response / report this review -

Best food we've had in Puerto Viejo. The vegetarian breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! It had flavorful and ripe tomatoes and avocado and the ciabata bread was hot and fresh.

The roja bread stick was really good, all the food looked fresh. Looked like a trendy place to enjoy a coffee. Take out or dine in.

Their sweets (brownies, cookies, cakes) are great, but they don't usually have enough fresh bread or baguettes. Over-priced, but convenient.
