“Chefs Special” was excellent and fed the four of us perfectly. Came with chicken, beef, chorizo, ribs, salad, french fries, and we added beans. All of the meat was great, particularly ribs and chorizo. Great atmosphere, too. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Amazing chicken! Excellent service. Great patio for people watching. Massive platter of food easily fed our group of 4, plus we had leftovers. Food was fresh and flavourful. If you’re in La Fortuna check them out!

You will certainly not go hungry in this local gem. The portions are very generous and the taste is excellent from the rotisserie and grill. You will sit in the heart of the town and can enjoy some souvenir shopping to walk off your dinner. Relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff.

The best chicken I've had in a long time. 6 days later I'm posting and I'm still thinking about it.
Great local-style sides too.
I really enjoyed the rotisserie style chicken. It was moist with crispy skin, plantains, beans and rice and great sauce.
I wish I could go back and get some right now. Make it a point to go there.

Did the special group platter of grilled chicken, ribs, steak, sausage. Was great food, fun atmosphere! Very reasonable for price for what we got for dinner!

This place is excellent. The service is top-notch. We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday here for dinner. The staff took the initiative to bring a candle with our meal, and sang happy birthday! We felt very appreciated to be there and enjoyed the smiles. Food was delicious too. Thanks!

Amazing food! Such good deals for the combos! We left feeling full! Get a dish with the chicken or the ribs (or both like we did). We got a “starter” of nachos but they could have been a main dish. We left with full, Happy tummies and it didn’t make us go bankrupt.

The PataNachos are nothing like nachos as the menu describes. I received patacones and on the side a bean soup of sorts, very runny, with just a hint of chicken. I was very disappointed and felt misled. Additionally, the Rosemary french fries we ordered came out very late, after we asked about them, and were ordinary frozen fries, no Rosemary and not at all like the photo and description.

Good food & the service was great.
Only thing of note was we ordered the combo & got 1 less tostone than was listed on the menu but as soon as we raised it they brought another. Then when the bill came we had 2 rounds of beers that were charged at different prices. So I would recommend but just pay attention to what you order & your bill ;-)

Great looking chicken roasting in front of the restaurant. Atmosphere and design has an island Costa Rican feel. Chicken and ribs was so good and it hits the spot just like all the restaurants we went to in Costa rica.

We were highly disappointed with food and service. Server was not friendly. Waited almost an hour for our food. If you looking for something more local and better quality, I would highly recommend to pass this place.

During our 4 nights in La Fortuna, this place was just around the corner from our Airbnb pad. They have this massive roasting cabinet displaying on the side of their restaurant and they look and smell amazing and weren't overpriced like the rest of other restaurant around. We went for it. Oh boy!! I don't know what local herbs they marinated their chicken with but we weren't disappointed and had our dinners there all four nights we spent in La Fortuna. There is only 4 wooden table and I believe the place runs by local Costa Rican family. They don't speak English but we hadn't a problem ordering as the picture on the their menu just speaks for itself.

Very basic menu, you choose either chicken or ribs. Its just a matter of what combo you want with what sides. Friendly service as well, it was nice sitting outside and eating
