Brought the family here when we had to make a farmacia run. Food was excellent had the skirt steak and wife had the special Angus steak. Kids has shrimp and rice cleared the plate. Tago our server was a workhorse and did a great job especially how busy they were. One of the best servers we've had in costa rica!

Great service. The most delicious food we have tried in many months. My wife had the fish that comes in an hot iron dish and I had the same, but with chicken and they were both delicious.

When we travel to La Fortuna, Las Brasitas is always our first stop for lunch and dinner. Every time we have visited, for the past 12 years, the food has always been top notch. It is always fresh and the restaurant is clean as a whistle. Our last visit was the beginning of this month and it is still the same. The open air environment makes it a treat, particularly on beautiful days, and you get to see the world pass by while enjoying particularly good food. I highly recommend Las Brasitas when you are in La Fortuna.

Upon a high recommendation from our tour guide/driver Leo Rodriguez, we ate lunch at Las Brasitas during our first day in La Fortuna and absolutely enjoyed it!
We both had the slow-roasted rotisserie chicken and it was one of the best I have ever eaten. It was so tender, juicy, and flavorful we almost went back a second time during our visit so I can eat it again. The black beans that came with the meal were also the best tasting I had during our entire trip to Costa Rica and it became an ongoing laugh to see if any other restaurant could top them.
An open-air restaurant, good food, cold beer, watching the town go by, what a nice afternoon lunch that was.response / report this review -

We had cocktails and nachos there. Staff were attentive. Good place for families to eat. There was also several screens showing different sports.

Wait time too long. Too expensive considering other places around it. Portion of food are not according to sell price.

Good food, but you can find cheaper places if you just take a little walk. The bean sauce that comes with burritos was great in texture, however the little tomato bowl was too spicy for my taste. The service is attentive, but the kitchen could be a bit quicker.
