Gorgeous! If you are visiting Costa Rica, you definitely want to visit the volcano, waterfall gardens, lagoons, and butterfly gardens.

    Horrible service.
I have never dealt with this kind of service. They posted a phone number available for inquiries. So I texted them and they were rude. Education will do the trick. If you don't want people inquiring simply don't post a phone number of just update your information on your Web pages.

If you have never seen a volcano then go check it out. If you have then it is probably not that big of a deal. This is basically a look out for the volcano. What is neat is you are above the clouds which makes for a new experience. We went on a day that was clear, but I have heard if it is a cloudy day the clouds will cover the volcano and you will not even see it. So watch the weather! It is a bit of a hike to get to the lookout but it is still really cool.

Long ride to top. View into Volcano is great. Not much else there and the ride is through some pretty poor areas with lots of traffic.

Admission can be paid by Credit card, but Parking lot fee should be paid only by cash. If there are clouds just wait a bit more for holes in the clouds, hopefully you'll see the crater ans the lake. Bring coat or waterproof sweater.

When the weather is good, the views from Poas are fabulous. There's easy hiking trails that will take you to several crater lakes. Go early if you can. There will be fewer people and clouds are more likely later in the day. There's a small museum, gift shop, and cafeteria here.

The view is unbelievably beautiful! Heaven on earth sceneryso glad we stopped by. Best to go early in the morning or it gets foggy after noon and you will have to make a second trip like me 😄

Easy to access, beautifull view and good surroundings. Ticket price is 15$ , well okay but 4$ for a bottle of water or a snack is too much. Bring your own food / drinks here. Only one expensive shop/snack/restaurant.
Tap water is not for drinking there (they stated so)

Natural wonder. A beautiful sight, the crater is, if its not cloudy. Other than that nice outdoorsy thing to do. Very nice hiking trails through the cloud forest.
