Great experience, highly recommend! Seems like a real animal conservation effort not just for tourists to see. We saw spider monkeys, a howler monkey, white face monkeys, macaws, parrots, bats, caimans, Jesus christ lizards, warthogs, an anteater, tucans, and some sort of jungle cat.

Very informative and they have a great staff. Carlos was an excellent guide. Sad to hear how people had originally treated these animals, but it's amazing what Proyecto Asis now offers for these animals. Great place to see animals and to support a good cause.

Informative. Friendly. It's a must see for everyone. Really eye opening on the subject of owning exotic pets. They're doing great work here with the rescues and surrendered animals. Great place and worth the fee.

My daughter and I had a fun, memorable, and highly informative visit. May seem expensive but it's a uniquely exceptional experience and I am glad to be supporting their work.

Loved it. I joined a group of 20 people and we helped prepare and feed animals rescued from poachers or other situations where the animals need rehabilitation to be released safely back into their environment.

We spent 5 days here volunteering and taking Spanish classes. The staff is composed of a group of truly committed individuals and they are concerned for the animals and work hard to educate the public. The guided tour is excellent and everyone seems to enjoy it. Highly recommended

Amazing!! They have very limited space and it's very popular for good reason make an appointment and call ahead of you don't go with a tour guide. You'll be able to feed and see sloths and tucans and tons of other animals. You can volunteer to get in for free but we didn't do that

I got to see monkeys and shake hands with it!!! How cool is that! Also, I like this place because they help rehabilitate the animals and get them back in the forest.

I saw the sign for this animal rescue on the side of the road, and I'm glad I did. Although it's a bit of a challenge to find make sure you use your GPS. The tour was very informative, the animals each have a story. It's heart wrenching to hear of some of the things they have endured at the hands of humans. We are utterly a horrible species. You will walk away from this tour with knowledge, and understanding of what we're doing to them.
