The catamaran tour with Planet Dolphin was better than we expected. It was a really nice activity. The group of people was not to big (about 30) for the really big boat. Cruising with a catamaran on the pacific during 30°C and sunshine is one of the best things you can do. We had a fresh breeze on the search for the dolphins. We found a group of about 5-6 dolphins who travelled close to the boat and followed us for a while. The snorkeling spot was not so nice (not so many different fishes) but swimming in the ocean was awesome. The people on the boat have been very friendly. We got free drinks and food after snorkeling.
I would recommend doing this activity while you are here.

It was amazing. Saw some dolphins. But the best part was snorkeling. I would recommend it to everyone.

We had an amazing time in the catamaran tour this morning. We were a little hesitant to book this activity because we didn’t want to spend the morning with a ton of people. We needn’t have worried about that. There were only about 12 other people on the huge boat with us. The crew was awesome. They really knew what they were doing. The captain even get in the water to snorkel with the group. He paointes our lots of fish, some starfish and even sea urchins. They food was very tasty and the crew kept the drinks flowing. We highly recommend this activity.

Have to add this to the pile of great Costa Rica experiences. The crew were great. We did the sunset tour. Got to do snorkeling and swimming. Got to see dolphins playing around the boat, and also saw one of the most beautiful sunsets. Good food and drinks included. Very fun experience.
