Great park and forest to spend a sunny day to BBQ in a 'rancho' near a small lagoon. You can walk around the forest and a trail that goes around the lagoon. Chill weather even when sunny. Games for kids and other sports available.

Great place to let the kids run around for a bit. They charged us quite a bit more because we're not local. Par for the course. Lots of equipment was broken, but the kids still had a fun time.

If you're looking for some hiking, this is not the place that you're looking for. It's more like a familiar calm spot. :)

Excelente lugar para ir a recrearse. La vista a la laguna es muy linda, todo muy limpio y hay cabañas cómodas para hacer un asado y conpartir en familia.

Realmente disfrute de este lindo lugar, las instalaciones se encuentran en buen estado y muy limpias, no vi ni una sola basura. Se puede pasar un rato muy agradable en familia ya que el sitio cuenta con todas las facilidades como baños y duchas, cancha de fútbol, ranchos con parrilla, cabañas, sitios para acampar, juegos fijos para niños y sobretodo su exuberante bosque y zonas verdes y la Laguna donde se puede apreciar distintas aves. Si eres amante de la fotografía, se pueden lograr muy buenas tomas en este lugar. Excelente atención del personal y el precio de la entrada muy barato. Super recomendado Y

Instalaciones muy obsoletas. Mucho polvo. Entrada incomoda. En fin pase un dia hermoso pero por la compañia que lleve. El lugar le doy 0. Y que decir de de los baños.

Love this park!! Lots of picnic tables, playground equipment, and other things to do like feeding ducks and going on paddle boats. We will definitely be back! Cost was approx. $7US for our family of 4.

This is a natural small lagoon park near by the City of Alajuela and the Poas Volcano, they have some sports courts like Basketball and Volleyball. There are also pic-nic areas and some small BBQ areas where you can engage into cooking. The place is nice and they offer parking. A really nice place for a one day family or group trip.

Beautiful tucked in park, very well maintained, very clean restrooms, very friendly employees. Lagoon isn't as impressive but allows for a quick pattle boat ride.
