Went here after hearing so much about it. Left a little disappointed since they didn't have what we wanted the most, fresh seafood. They tried their best by providing friendly service. But had to remind them a few times about orders and drinks, even though we had two waiters for our table of four! Food was just ok, need to step up their game.

We just ate there, I had the steak, the first one was served cold, the second one was cooked fine but was way under seasoned and only about 5oz in size - price was equalavant to $20 usd, wife had the grilled seafood platter, it consisted of baby everything; shrimp, squid and crab- price equalavant to $16 usd, both were a disappointment.

I just ate there, and it was sad. The calamari was fine. The gumbo soup had great ingredients like a complete crab, squid, shrimp and fish, but the ingredients were overcooked and then put into a brown gravy with some pepper added.
They should send their 'chef' to New Orleans.

We went for lunch after the restaurant was recommended by a Costa Rican.
It was a week day so there were 2 other tables occupied and we were able to get a table overlooking the main drag. So great for people watching.
The variety of seafood was wide. The Jambalaya tasty with a slight spiciness. If you want it spicier you simply have to ask your server.
The catch of the day was a choice between Dorado, Tuna and Corvetta.
Then you get to choose your toppings. I chose Tuna and a lime sauce. Wow! Well worth it.
The portions are a fair size and they did allow our friends to share a plate.
You shouldn't be disappointed with this choice.

Pretty good, not the best I have had but a decent meal. Tad on the pricy side in my opinion for the taste. But I would come back and try something else. I had the catch of the day (red snapper) and a shrimp cocktail.

This restaurant is located on the main strip in Playa Del Coco. It has a menu with lots of variety. We ate there multiple times during our vacation because it was so good. They offer a fresh catch fish meal every day and you can choose from a list of ways they will prepare it– my favorite was blackened. It was served with jambalaya rice - made without meat, so perfect for me who only eats seafood, and it was delicious. A side of fresh vegetables was included which was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The staff is very friendly. One greeted us at our table and I asked about desserts. He showed me a strawberry cheesecake with oreo crust he made himself that day. We ordered it to go and enjoyed later at our hotel. The atmosphere is nice and open air. We sat upstairs on the street side so we could people watch while we ate. You MUST eat here if you are in the area.

We had the catch of the day and it was pretty good. The portion was a bit smaller than what we expected for the price but the food was good. Only thing we didn't like was there seemed to be SO many flies.

Good food. Probably the best place to get sushi in Coco.

They did a great job of cooking the tuna my son caught, and charged 1/2 the price for their tuna dish. Fair deal. Staff was very friendly.

Can't really recommend this place for anything else but the fact that the dining room is upstairs, away from the dusty street below. Food is average.
Update couple hours later: girls have tummy problems and the fish didn't taste fresh. One star

Delicious! Ended up returning a second day in a row for the fresh fish. The mushroom sauce was amazing, and there were multiple English speakers. Calamari platter was also great

Excellent seafood - tasty. Good service. They had English-speaking servers and even a menu in English. The only downside is that in the rainy season, the flies were on every piece of food and it was impossible to keep them off. I'd definitely eat here again, maybe in front of one of the fans, though.
