Great place to chill in a hammock on the beach. Just close enough to town for restaurants and bars, but far enough for some peace and quiet. Great people at this place!

Oasis hostel is exactly what a hostel should be. Comfortable beds, hot shower, kitchen, on the beach and a great outdoor common area. It's simple yet beautiful and this makes for a great tranquil atmosphere. It is located 2 minutes walking from town and opposite a bakery and bike rental shop. There are dorm rooms, private rooms and there is also space for camping. The hostel owners are super friendly and super helpful with everything to see and do around Puerto Viejo - get to know them during your stay, they're really cool.
Met some great people there and really enjoyed my stay. One of my favourite hostels in Costa Rica. Definitely recommend staying here :)response / report this review -
