Everything was excellent the staff was amazing an went above and beyond. Treated us like family they havent seen in ages an made sure we were very well taken care of.
The male server was the best I've ever came across everrrrr. He made my entire experience top notch. Can't wait to go back.

Great location close to everything in town. It's right on the beach, and main road. We sat down at the bar, and enjoyed a few Imperials while waiting out the storm and subsequent power outage. We talked to the waitress about where to find local foods and she suggested the Rondon from Maxi's. It was really tasty, and full of flavours we hadn't seen in all of Costa Rica yet.

Honestly, it was the worst food we’ve eat in Costa Rica we read that it was an amazing restaurant for the seafood, and that the ceviche was amazing. MAN WE WERE DISAPPOINTED!
We were told that the grill was close, there was no chiken and no ceviche it means that 2/3 of the menu wasn’t there. My girlfriend took some red wine seafood and I took a fried rice (both were crazy expensive). Her calamari were so overcook that it felt like rubber. Same for my dish. Honestly, being a cook and serving that to customers is more than a shame!

Not at all impressed with 6 people's meals this afternoon. The service staff seemed to be bothered that we were there for food. I asked two different servers at three times for hot sauce. It was a pain to get a waitress, a pain to order drinks and food, it was even painful to pay. Caribbean chicken was dry and bland.

Sorry, we would love to forget the experience we had today.

Sad that this place is no longer what it was. It was a tradition to come to Maxi's for a rice & beans and a whole red snapper. The food is ok, the service is laughable.

Excellent food with a great view!!! We went there about six months ago. The service was great and the food was delicious!!! We had lobster. It was outstanding!!! Moderately priced.
