Most seafood was not caught on the same day. Ordered a plate of fresh Jumbo Shrimps that the waiter recommended and got only two real jumbo shrimps plus a few regular shrimps, probably from the freezer

Had the locally cultivated beef, filet mignon, cooked exquisitely, with a delicious garlic sauce and garnished with fresh rosemary. Fresh vegetables and yummy "mush" potatoes. Very friendly and quite reasonable.

Great ceviche choices, very fresh. Steak from Argentina top notch. A little disappointed the other beef and lamb cuts we're imported from US. Tico beef is some of the best carne we have tasted.

Make sure you check your bill well!!! We were not very hungry so we had one ceviche to share which was good and then one seafood rice to share. The waiter insisted a few times with us to order something else but we just had those 2 dishes, a beer and a batido. When we got the bill it was just a paper with 20,700 colones written on it. The same waiter stayed standing next to us after giving us the bill so my boyfriend gave him the money straight away. After the waiter left I did the calculations as I had an idea of the prices of the things we had and I figured we should have paid around 15, 000. We went to the bar and asked them to check and in fact we were right!!! They gave us 5,000 back. What a joke!

This was one of the tastiest meals we had, and one of the best priced. Would definitely recommend.

My husband ordered the tuna, which was good and fresh. I ordered the lobster. Part of the lobster was mushy but I just thought that was due to how they prepared it. It was also way too peppery. The fish ceviche we had as an appetizer was top notch.
Service was spotty at best and we waited a very, very long time for the check.
For all of that, we would give it 3 stars. But then I got terrible food poisoning from the lobster (the lobster is the only food my husband and I did not share yesterday). This is NOT how I wanted to spend a day of my trip, especially after I paid $30 for the lobster.
I did not recommend that you eat here unless you are willing to take such a risk.
