A park built around a central stage for live music, etc. Plenty of park benches, watchful security guards and eating establishments are around the edge. A family environment for a fun evening or a place to relax in the shade during the day.

At first glance this tiny park is little more than a few benches and trees. However, if you stick around it becomes a major social hub for the city (particularly in the evening on Sunday).
We sat back and watched everything from dancing talent contests to kids entertainers and a band.
You can grab yourself a pizza to go or bite to ear from one of the many places nearby and sit in the park and watch it all unfold - if nothing else it's just a great place to people watch.

Central Park of Liberia. Lots of benches throughout the park to sit on and relax. It's not very large in size, so it gets busy by the evening when locals come out to chill out and socialize. It has a very nice and positive atmosphere and I come here with my children quite often.
Skateboarders and BMXers like to hang out by the steps of the church, but all in a good fun: no safety issues. :)
