It was very clean and well maintained. I'd call it a mini Zoo though. A little expensive, it'd be hard to spend more than 2 hours here. The staff was knowledgeable. The Jaquars and Toucans were my favorite.

The price was a bit high just to see the animal sanctuary but it was worth it for sure! There are several large cats, which was my favorite part. We also had a guide for the car section which was good, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The butterfly room was also super cool as you can walk through and one or two may even land on you.

Amazing place! Loved every minute of it! I only wish we had gotten there sooner to enjoy the animals longer and do the zip line. I would like to see the gift shop stay open at least 30 minutes past 4:30. By the time the shuttle brought us back, it was closed and we were wanting a few souvenirs.

This is an animal conservation park with the look and feel of a really well maintained zoo. There are lots of big cats. Monkeys ,foxes and snakes are all behind metal cages but they all seemed really happy.
You can interact with the parrots and butterflys. There is a really friendly Toucan!! We only did the Discovery Pass. But you can do a zip line thing there too and looked so cool! You can chill at this place or do the extreme! I recommend this place for sure!

What a thrill ride! Great crew, super trustworthy. They kept it so calm, so plenty of thrill was left to be had by us! Highly recommend.

A truly amazing place. We only went to the animal sanctuary as I'm disabled but we had a fabulous day. So many creatures and the staff are knowledgeable and so friendly. Mia the sloth eventually woke up for photos which was such a treat but the felines, butterflies, toucans and frogs were also wonderful. A perfect day, with some terrific memories.

Visited the animal sanctuary which was well kept and clean. Very nice enclosures for the animals. It however was a self guided tour lacking the intimacy of other similar places. More like a zoo and rather costly for a zoo experience.

We bought the discovery pass because we were only interested in seeing the animal sanctuary. In all honesty the place is really like more of a zoo. Each exhibit guide was kind and pretty knowledgeable, but I didn’t hear any of them say anything about the animals being rescued or rehabilitated. We heard through word of mouth that you get to hold the sloths, but once we arrived there we found out that visitors are no longer allowed to touch or hold the animals. It took about 2 hours for us to go through everything, and the most exciting part was watching the sloths get fed and giving the toucans a snack.

Great place! With lots of things to do. We spent 1/2 day here however I wish we were there longer. We went on the zipline, saw the animals, & went kayaking. (I just wish they had lockers closer to the beach not just on the mountain.

This place is absolutely amazing and is a must see in Costa Rica!

Your able to see various different types of animals and what this place is doing for the animals is amazing. Some are just sick or injured and need rehabilition or been in captivity in other countries for a long time. They try and teach the ones that been held in human hands for to long how to hunt etc. The price of $38 is worth every penny and their $14 buffet is very good as well. Small children I believe under 3 are free. For $100-$150 depending on how big your family is, is money well spent. I thought we'd be there for an hour or two but ended up spending 6 hours there.

It's clean, well organized, the staff are informative and it a great family/date day.

Fantastic experience which is well worth your money. For the full price we went on five ziplines, a controlled free fall, and got to visit the animal sanctuary. The staff on the ziplines were clearly very experienced and made us feel very calm and safe during the whole process. The animal sanctuary was wonderful and you can see that the animals are clearly very well cared for here!

Awesome butterfly sanctuary. Got to see the sloths feeding in the morning, beautiful creatures. Could have spent hours talking to the parrots. Them things were laughing at us laughing at what they were coming out with. A pretty impressive collection of frogs too.
The zip lines were amazing. ATV adventure was brilliant. I had the chance to go on a trail myself with the guide. Well worth it.
Can't go wrong with horse riding either. Top stuff.

great place. weight limit on the ZIP LINE is 280lbs. You can trade/switch that for something else like ATV tour (I did this) and it's GREAT! Ask for Micheal. He's really laid back and he'll show you some cool stuff :)

My husband and I went to the animal sanctuary and enjoyed the lunch buffet. It was SOO fun and we spent much longer there than we anticipated. The sloths were not disappointing, though our favorite part was holding the toucans. The buffet was amazing. It was the best food we had during our entire vacation.

Nice adventure park & animal sanctuary. We only visited the animal sanctuary and restaurant, but the could see the zipliners, which looked like a lot of fun as well. There are many types of animals at the park, and while they are in contained habitats, you can enter many of the habitats along with the animals (frogs, birds, butterflies, etc). The frog caretaker was especially knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his frogs, and pointed each one out to us (and told us their names he had given them!). The restaurant is buffet style and was pretty good, with several Costa Rican options, and it was nice to be able to try a sampling without committing to a particular dish.

Small to moderate sized animal sanctuary with everything you'd expect to find in Costa Rica. Spend a day here and your kids will be happy. Zip lining is super modern and comfortableTheir staff is outstanding in being polite and helpful, and the lunch menu was tasty and not excessive in options. It's a new place right now (about 3 months old) and it shows. Hope they can keep up the enthusiasm and facilities going forward. The only disappointment was that the beach was too rough by the time we got there at 3PM to snorkel and kayak. Start your visit early, as soon as they open!
