Cosy place. Was my first stop. The staff was very friendly and helped me book my bus the next morning.

Very close to the airport. Exchanged my last colones for dollars at a good rate which was very cool of them to do. Free shuttle to the airport was helpful. Pretty nice little place.

Julianna was super friendly and helpful. The dorm was cozy, clean and safe. Nice little kitchen area and living room with a TV and computer for guests. Two shared bathrooms and the price was great. They offer a free shuttle hourly to the airport a few minutes away and the location in Alejuela is ideal. Thank you! I will be back.

This hostel is a very great one. Clean, home atmosphere and nice staff. There are a lot of informations about Costa Rica, San José and even about the neighbor countries Nicaragua and Panama. The kitchen has enough space and utilities to cook and consume food. The breakfast with coffee, banana and some cookies is included. We where asked if we left much early in the morning, so they would make us coffee earlier as planned breakfast time. As a European guest you can use the plugs without an adapter. In the dorm it could be a bit louder because there is a main street next to the hostel. But I'm sure there's traffic noise in the whole metropole region. They hostel also offers a free transit to San José international Airport. Looking at the price and service, that's the best offer I got of my first 12 days in the whole country with different accommodations.

I've been recommending this place for years and not once have I received a complaint. They have a free shuttle to the airport. They are centrally located in Alajuela which makes transportation easy to find. There's a bus station nearby and a central one about 10 mins, walking distance.

Located conveniently in Alajuela, relatively close to the airport. The hostel can provide shuttle to the airport. The dorms are nice and have a fan, but no AC. A locker is provided. Overall good experience for 1 night.

Perfect place to come fir a night after a late flight in or early one out of San José. The town itself was very nice, really vibrant when I was there on a Saturday morning

It's been hyped up. The bed was not at all comfortable and not super clean. For the same money we stayed at cool places. Would not recommend it.

Wonderful stay. Friendly, helpful staff; clean beds, bathroom, and common area. Reasonably priced. Not a party hostel, which is nice for those who actually want to sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
