Experience of a lifetime. Came in the afternoon for the full experience with my family. Started the afternoon with a delicious meal and some wine. Got a wonderful body scrub and soaked in the tub watching over the rainforest. Ended the evening with an amazing full body massage and then watched the sunset.

Los Altos de Eros is about as close to Heaven on earth as you can get! My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights the beginning of this month (March, 2018). The detached suite was beautiful and private with a king sized bed and a lovely patio with an unbelievable view.
I can't say enough about the owner and staffsome of THE FRIENDLIEST people I've ever met. They anticipated our wants/needs before we even knew we had any! 😀
I was a bit leery at first about everyone staying there to have to have meals together (every meal)one long table that seated everyone, but the first night we sat down to dinner, it seemed like we had known everyone forever. I actually cried when we had to leave! We all exchanged our info., and I'm sure we'll remain in touch.
The spa was wonderful, too. My husband and I had breakfast there, and we had massages early in the day. It was a feast for the senses!

AMAZING! Didn't stay here but did the spa day with lunch and wine and didn't want to leave! The hospitality is amazing, the views during the massage/lunch are incredible and the lunch! Delicious! Totally worth the cost!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon a couple of years ago (I’m finally getting caught up on reviews!). We loved it so much and hope to go back one day. We stayed in the detached king suite, which was lovely for privacy and had a great outdoor sitting area. The food was fantastic and the spa was even better. I think I got 3-4 massages in one week? Our favourite was lounging by the pool with some drinks. Only beer and wine is included, but that was just fine for us. There was tons of wildlife to see/hear and the grounds were beautiful. We also participated in the zip line and catamaran excursions. Both excellent. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful. And Coco the dog was the best.
The only negatives (and I use that term lightly) were really not that negative. Just things to consider. If you want to go into town and make use of the shuttle back, you can’t stay out that late. I think 8pm? But that worked fine for us. We also hiked a loop around the area with a map from the hotel, but it was WAY longer than we anticipated (our fault) and you really must take it seriously when they tell you not to do it midday. We had to turn back about 1/3 of the way because it was too hot and the bugs were insane. And as much as I loved the spa, it was the worst nail polish application experience of my life! I fully acknowledge I am picky about my polish though.
Overall an excellent experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for a luxury, peaceful, delicious vacation.response / report this review -

Amazing luxury boutique hotel in Costa Rica! We had the most amazing experience in the spa that left us feeling like we were in heaven! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the staff was so friendly and the food was divine! Highly recommend!!!

Went for a spa day from Tamarindo and it was an amazing experience! The spa picks you up at your hotel and you arrive at this beautiful oasis in the mountains. Food and service were wonderful.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Los Altos de Eros. We had them pick us up at the airport and drop us off. The overall stay and the shuttle ride to/from the airport was wonderful. We spent a long weekend here and had a great, relaxing time. The spa was also world class as well.

The hotel and spa was absolutely beautiful! We were there for a honeymoon spa day. We did the Spa day package with the hour and a half massage, facial, and body scrub. The lunch, cooked by in house chefs, was absolutely delicious. We waited 2 hours by the infinity pool before beginning the romantic sunset massage. This was an hour therapeutic massage followed by strawberries and champagne in the soaker tub by the sunset. Finally we ended with a 3 course dinner again made by the in house chefs.

This is a world class jewel tucked away in the quiet of Costa Rica. Easy access to Tamarindo and surrounding area and the hotel provides transportation for guests which is a real nice touch. The spa itself and services are amazing and the food is delicious. We had been trying to find time to visit LADE for some time now and finally fit it into our travels. Definitely going back again.
