  Can't emphasize enough how good the food and drinks were. Had the watermelon and mint juice, amazing!
  Guacamole and patacones were fresh and with good flavour.

  Well worth the price, get the Antipasto plate and consider your luxuries of being able to eat that quality food so far away from it's origin.

  Very beautiful spot on the beach, perhaps the best place nearby to watch the sunset. Make sure you reserve a table if you want to watch it while eating dinner though as you will be asked to move if you haven't reserved (the beach is literally 10 feet away so if you don't reserve a table you can always buy a couple beers and watch from the beach).
  The food is good and it's normal prices for the region.

  Nice location on the beach, good food and friendly service. We had falafel, snapper, pizza, steak and goat cheese salad, cocktails and smoothies, all tasted delicious. Pavlova is huge, tastes OK. Prepare for a wait :)

  Falafel, hummus and salad platter is delicious. I ordered the cucumber tonic cocktail. It was probably the best cocktail I had during my visit to Costa Rica. Beautiful setting on the beach. I suggest making reservations. Be warned that the service is quite slow though.

  Went there for a Valentine's dinner. Unfortunately there was a large bee attach. Staff was helpful trying to fix the situation but it sure did put a damper on the evening as we had to leave. Would have been an amazing dinner and sunset. I did happen to get this photo and you can see it is much more empty than usual.

  A beautiful waterfront restaurant serving local seafood. We had excellent service and spectacular sunset. Food could have been hotter.

  Sat down and ordered a beer from a very nice tico waiter. 5 minutes later the manager comes over and says the table is reserved (there was no sign on that table unlike the others that had signs) we apologised and said that we didn’t see the sign, she said the metal water bottle on the table was the sign. She was very cold and mean, we heard not to go to la Luna because the staff were judgemental and mean but we wanted to see for ourself and word of mouth was true.
  
  Not worth it. Go to beach dog cafe instead, lovely people and food

  La Luna mainly gets a high rating for the picturesque backdrop that outlays in front of you during sunset. The property is beautiful with seating spread out across a backyard with stunning views of the beach. The food and drinks also did not disappoint. We ordered the ceviche, red snapper fish, and a pizza split half spicy chorizo and half anchovies. Portions are large and both entrees that we ordered could have easily been split between two people.

  Great restaurant on the beach. Healthy menu. They will try to accommodate your dietary needs (as for me, I asked no fries, but a double portion of salad instead and I got it). The mojito I ordered was strong and per my request, not sweet. On the pricey end as Nosara in general.

  Amazing location, good food but a bit on the expensive side. Beautiful furniture.
  They didn't have space so we took the food to go and ate at the beach, which was perfect.
