This place has the most amazing meat platter. Also the empanadas and kabobs were incredible. The owners are very nice and welcoming. This was the best place for me to spend my birthday!

Great food and really good people. We ate at La Fonda on a number of occasions while in Nosara, it became our favorite go-to place. The roasted meats are incredible and it is great fun to watch the owner work his grill. In addition to some really great traditional grilled meats there were some special treats on the menu. Try the black pudding - a very special treat. We also had grilled tripe that was to die for. A very special place with the owner and his wife making it one of the friendliest restaurants we came across in a country with many friendly restaurants. Don't miss having dinner at La Fonda while in Nosara.
