Very great view on the rooftop pool and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very nice look of the beach from the restaurant under the tree canopy.

Wow this was a great vacation hotel but it's so much more!! Roberto the manager is the perfect host and will make all your needs his own. Located on the beach with a restaurant with the best food in town. Fantastic food fresh and made fresh on the spot. The owners live on site and are a wonderful couple also very much make you at home. As for Playa Hermosa it's beautiful and family friendly place no loud parties. The staff is truly warm and world class service. Betty and Dawson the owners have done a great job with the hotel and the staff. I cant say enough you will be happy with the Hotel, The Beach, The people and the weather is perfect too. Book away you will be very happy!

La Gaviota hotel is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in Costa Rica. The hotel itself is an amazing structure with gorgeous rooms and a rooftop pool that overlooks playa Hermosa. What really makes this place special are the employees. We have been treated so nicely by Chris, Jose, and Marcos. Not only do they work hard but they are sincere. Dinner last night was fantastic. Very fresh flavors and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning here for an extended stay.

Not too busy, right on the beach, great rooms and delicious food. We were not sure where we were going to stay when we arrived in Playa Coco area and then happened upon this gem. A little pricier than some of the other small hotels but well worth it, great place to close out our vacation.
