What a great experience! My wife and I took beginner lessons with Mauricio which was way more instruction than I expected. We both got up quickly on the first lesson! The shop was awesome and Eric was extremely welcoming and helpful for recommendations during our stay in regards to forgiving breaks as well as some local living info. We tried a few different boards as we progressed and valued his opinion and honesty. Just good people and you can tell they care and want to make sure you have a great time. Highly recommend and would use the shop next time for sure!

Friendly owner. Good surf board rental selection. Able to switch boards out to try different boards. Easy rental process.

I was down in Santa Teresa with my wife in April and stumbled upon this shop. I had been to all the other local shops and they all seemed exactly the same. From the minute you walk in to Kina Rachael and Eric (the owners) greet you with positivity. Kina has air conditioning (Huge plus!) and a huge selection of the essentials for down there. I had a hard time choosing which surfboard I wanted to use from their rentals and even bought one and brought home with me to the states. I was in there almost every day I was there for something new. Plus there's an awesome smoothie place right next door and the beach across the street!
