If you have ever been to Walmart, it’s basically that but the prices are a little bit better. The electronics selection is good. The produce is always very fresh. They have a pharmacy on site. It’s definitely a one stop shop.

Although bigger than the Parrita Maxi Pali, the inventory is significantly lacking. It's OK, but not as good as the Parrita one.

We go for the home and outdoor supplies. The grocery selection is limited and hit or miss. For an excellent grocery and meat selection, visit the BM just across the street.

I always enjoy all their staff. In and outside. You never have to worry about your vehicle or yourself . Just a good crew. Always smiling and very helpful. My spanish is not very good so they go out of their way to understand me. I enjoy shopping at MAXI PALI.😉

In the El Roble store I was stood in front of the cashier for 1 hour 15 minutes before she grugently waited on me. She passed everyone ahead of me. The manager profusely thanked me over and over for not making a scene. HORRIBLE experience. Prejudice against foreigners. Tried to take a photo of the mountains and security guard told me I was not allowed to take photos. ???

Very similar to a Walmart in the US. Lots of things sold at pretty low prices but not of very high quality. The fresh produce section was pretty bad (might have been the time of day not sure). Good place to buy things in bulk like rice, beans and etc.

This is owned by Walmart. It is similar to a US version Neighborhood market. You can get some basics, food, clothing, some household items, etc. Prices are reasonable.

The Wal-Mart of Costa Rica (owned by Wal-Mart). Just like being in America! Decent prices and they take USD. Best selection of anything you could possibly want - everything from rice to car tires.
