This is one of the best Hotels that I stayed at while on a one month trip to Costa Rica. The price is great considering that the hotel is located near the Cahuita National Park. I greatly enjoy the size air flow of the room as well as the large amount of space inside. I had an ocean view from my bed. We saw a two toed sloth in the gardens as well as iguanas, monkeys, and birds. Erica, the owner, is really nice and a greatly enjoyed chatting with her about the property, Costa Rica, and her background. I would highly recommend this place. It is clean, tranquil, and great people. A go to place to stay at if your are planning on checking out the Cahuita National Park!

Kelly Creek is very different and may not be for everyone. The hotel has only four rooms, but they are very large. However, there is no glass in the windows and also no screen wire. My only complaint was that the rooms were a bit dark, but this seems to be the case in many motels in Costa Rica. We had nice ocean breezes in our room most of the time, plus there is a ceiling fan. They provide mosquito netting over the bed and we had no problem with bugs. The location is wonderful, the entrance to Cahuita National Park is only about 50 feet from the hotel. The little town is about 100 feet from the motel and has some interesting shops and restaurants. The owners are very friendly and very helpful with advice about local tourist attractions. The lady speaks fluent English and the gentleman speaks some English too. The food was great (some of the best we had in 14 nights in Costa Rica) and was served out on the porch with a view of the jungle behind us and the ocean in front. They have a bilingual parrot name Verde that is a hoot. The price is reasonable and I recommend this place.

New management. Wildlife from the reserve come right into your backyard. Literally. Friendly Canadian owners. Walking distance to the beaches on the edge of the sleepy little town of Cahuita. Beautiful setting! Reasonable accommodations.
