Wow, what a view! We had an incredibly relaxing afternoon sipping on pina coladas and watching the waves crash down at the beach. The sunset was spectacular!

Beautiful property and beautiful views. Got the adventure package. Had a blast zip lining, horseback riding and taking the ATV tour.

I did not stay at the hotel but went to see the sunset. They have a pool with a great view on the ocean and a wet bar. If you are not a guest of the hotel, you need to spend 10000C per person to use the pool. The pool gets quickly crowed but it was still a great experience.

So after about 12 hours of traveling from San Jose airport to the hotel, me and my fiancé were extremely exhausted and ready to officially start our vacation. Unfortunately when we arrived were unable to make it up this very steep hill into the actual parking lot. We did require a bit of help in the pitch black and the entire staff reached out to make sure we were safe Needles to say everyone there was extremely friendly, relaxed and focused on the guest comfort. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and plenty full. Amenities like atv rental, zip lining, and hiking were easily organized whenever you wanted. Beautiful scenery, pools, and views. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Im not going to lie, this place was very impressive when we first walked up. The infinity pool is amazing and the patrons were mostly young and beautiful. The staff were too lazy to give correct dollar to colones conversion, so I overpayed bit. We stayed for dinner, expensive steaks and a nice salad bar, and were met with unprepared staff once again. The food was decent, but I would reccomend bringing colones and leaving after sunset instead of staying for dinner.

Be prepared to be treated like a second-class citizen if you're just visiting, not a guest at the hotel. (The place is small and family run, so they'll know whether you are or not.) We had heard about the "amazing infinity pool" and bar, but were made to feel so unwelcome, we left without ever seeing it.
There was an ATV tour that just came back in, and, not being guests, didn't think it would be courteous to barge into their little assembly so parked just outside of the reception yard. Attempting to circumvent that group, we saw a stack of crates with beer bottles and thought it was the back side of the restaurant and headed towards it. This was quickly dismissed when we were rudely accosted by the owner with, "Does this look like somewhere you should be? You're walking through my house." Yeah, sure, the open-air sidewalk really tipped us off No further directions were provided, so we started back the way we came, but not before his wife straggles out of some cluttered room to give us a sneer and "does this look like the bathroom?" K, thanks, already leaving, super unnecessary. We're not exactly sketchy characters, clearly lost, walking around with our camera, swimsuit and towels, but man, we felt like felons on parole. Look, if you don't want your property open to the public, then don't. Hotel guests only, problem solved.
We went to Habaneros instead (same private villa type setup), nice beach view, no issues, no sarcasm.response / report this review -
