Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Literally walking distance from the national Park. I loved it. Very small and private.

We stayed here 3 nights and were very satisfied with service. The Location is perfect, 5 min to the Manuel Antonio Park and 5 min to the Beach. It is a very quite place with a relaxed atmosphere. It has a pool, where one can chill any time during the day. The room was always clean and has everything you need: ac, comfort bed, TV, espresso machine and a fridge.

At the reception the staff is very nice and friendly.

Vela Bar is a gem of a place close to the heart of Manuel Antonio. From my first email to them for pre-planning, they exceeded my expectations, especially Steven Flores. His help was awesome! Rooms and grounds are meticulous and lush. Breakfast area is clean and modern. The staff here was fantastic! Would love to go back to Vela Bar if we travel to Costa Rica again.

Great hotel right on the road to Manuel Antonio National Park. Only a couple hundred meters from the park and from the city beach. Clean rooms and great breakfast by the pool. No lunch or dinner wish they had a bar also easy to park and friendly staff. One of the front desk guys is a little grumpy but otherwise great staff. Recommend.

We stayed in the two story house at the back and absolutely loved it. The house felt like a tree house with the tree in the center of it. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys which was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The location was ideal so close to the park and beach. All in all I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has it all. Location is close to beach and restaurants. Rooms clean. Staff is exceptional. Breakfast is perfect. Saw all kinds of wildlife from our balcony everyday. We are definitely going back!!

When I checked in, I tipped the dude behind the counter and asked for a wake up knock. Didn't happen. Everything else was AWESOME. Pool was beautiful. Watched monkey jump through trees while I swam. The rest of the staff was terrific. Other guests were great. Breakfasts were amazing. Short walk to beach. Short walk to Park.
