La pizza, foccaccia y mariscada eran RIQUISIMOS. El servicio estuvo increíble también,incluyendo ayudarnos con nuestra chiquita de 2 años. Volveremos a comer pronto!

This is an amazing piece of “heaven”. We were so lucky to find it. We had reserved a place that turned out to be horrible so we cancelled walked down the street and found this hidden gem for the same price as our disaster accomodations. It is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and flowering plants. The pool is secluded and lovely to sit around. There are table and chairs outside of each room and patios (covered and open). The breakfasts in the restaurant were amazing with fresh fruit and omelets made on the spot. The food in the restaurant was outstanding (esp. their fire roasted glazed chicken and pizzas) as were the sangrias!
It was a short walk to the beach (Whale’s Tail”) or to town. We were close to many eating places. The macaws liked to sit in the trees by the restaurant as we ate our breakfast. We walked to 2 amazing waterfalls and swam in the lovely cool pools below.
We had an amazing 6 days at this resort in Uvita.response / report this review -

Great spot, service, lovely owners and an amazing restaurant and pool. Dannea makes the best margaritas we have ever had :) Would highly recommend!!!

This was a great place to stay and my favorite hotel from my experience in across Costa Rica, the owner Is very friendly and as well as the staff and the restaurant has great food. Peaceful and Convenient location with access to the beach with a 5 minute bike ride. Recommend!!

We had a group of ten Americans (some high-maintenance) stay at Luz de Luna in June 2015. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the air conditioning worked well. At the restaurant, we all sampled a variety of different pizzas. They were all delicious. All of the hotel and restaurant staff were miles above average. The breakfast bar Saturday morning was outstanding. Overall, we had no complaints at all for Luz de Luna hotel and restaurant.

One of the best places to sleep around Uvita and actually around the whole area, and their restaurant is second to none as well.
