Rooms are cheap, but relatively clean. The service might be unfriendly and the rooms to the street are extremely loud at night, yet I would still recommend this place.

Horrible owner, bossy, would not let us visit our friends who lived on the second floor!? Because we had our room on the third. We could not hang wet clothes and towels in the room or balcony, but pay to use their "dry room". Then she had a guard walking around at "night" (21:00) telling everyone to be quiet and get back to their rooms. I would not recommend this place. Not a fun or good place to stay. Live across the street instead.

Location was excellent, rooms were basic but clean great balcony and air conditioning was great. Front desk service was great and the girls were terrific and very informative.

This hotel wasn't my favorite. At night there were bugs all over the floor, they charge extra for AC and extra if you leave the hotel. It is a nice cheap place for backpackers but I stayed at a hostel down the road that was way nicer than this hotel and it was cheaper (Protecto Montezuma). All in all it was a good place to stay for the night but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Extra charge for AC, extra charge for hot water, and a pretty uncomfortable bed. It's cheapish but we stayed in 4 places in Costa Rica all about the same price and this was the worst. It's in a good spot though if you want to be right in the town. The main reason for only 2 stars is the bad smell in the hallway, not sure where that was coming from, and the loud noises from our upstairs neighbors the first night. I don't know what was going on up there but even when our AC and fan on we had to wear earplugs.

Nice hotel, good location. The room is big, and there are nice kitchen and hammock outside. After cook, you can take a seat next to the park. Really relaxing. There is mini refrigerator in private room. We get everything we need. And the price is worth!
