The service, amenities and value were excellent. We booked a private room with a shared bathroom and no AC but the in-room fan was more than adequate to offset the heat. Breakfast was included, basic but delicious (beans and rice, eggs, fruit, coffee). Very friendly staff and great vibe. Came back from an exhausting day to a delightfully clean room - had no idea housekeeping was provided! Only negative was that the room faced a sometimes busy street, but after a full day of activities it didn't bother us much. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: free breakfast, nice hang out area, close to bus stop to Manuel Antonio, rooms and washrooms cleaned regularly, free parking. Cons: near the main road to MA, rooms don't have windows so if you are sensitive to sound you may have disturbed sleep. No AC, just ceiling fan.

The best hostel we experienced so far, every aspect we considered was perfect. Clean, good equipment at the kitchen, tours provided, pool and bar area, hot showers, nice view to the sea, amazing breakfast, parking spaces and the Costa Rican Wildlife is almost guaranteed. Thanks for making the stay in Manuel Antonio so unforgettable.

Great place near Manuel Antonio park. You can get on a bus just outside to either the park or to Quepos. They have a nice sitting area with chairs and hammocks where you can catch the sunset on a clear day.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. They all spoke English but would speak to you in Spanish if you were making the effort to practice.
We were traveling with our 6 month old and felt very comfortable and safe here. They had places to park, a shared kitchen and a restaurant/bar. Food was a bit expensive for our budget but was a bit cheaper than all the other places to eat on the road to the park.response / report this review -

Best hostel you can stay at Manuel Antonio area, no doubt!
Clean and nice.
Staff are great and helpful, the breakfast is really nice (gallo pinto, fruits and egg).

We stayed at the bed and breakfast portion of the Hostel. It's approximately 100 metres down the road from the main hostel. The B&B rooms are ok, and the common area within the building is nice. The grounds are falling apart and not maintained. For the amount your spending, I would only put up with such conditions if we had of been closer to the park..
