After a long drive, this place was an oasis. The rooms were comfortable. A cup of tea was available in the lobby while we checked in. Staff was very nice and helpful. The place is a little hard to find though. It's not on a main Street but it's behind a casino and a Denny's. Hard to spot from the highway. Its directly across from several car rental places and a ten minute shuttle from the airport.

Check-in was fast because my reservation was already paid. The room was clean and well maintained. It had a good heating & cooling system controlled by a handheld remote. Despite being next to the airport, the room was quiet The breakfast was excellent for a hotel breakfast. It included both North American foods like eggs & bacon and cereal as well as Costa Rican foods. Check-out was easy.

We've stayed here twice and experienced the same quality service both times: Delicious breakfast! Comfy beds, very clean and quiet. Free wifi, complimentary coffee 24/7, and a nice selection of snacks available for sale by the front desk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free airport shuttle bus that stops at regular times so you don't have to worry about transportation to the airport. There are a couple restaurants in walking distance, but if you want something different there's also a free shuttle to a nearby mall where with more choices. They really do have and provide everything you need for a great stay.

I like this hotel, good breakfast, close to airport, shuttle service is great, and rooms were comfortable. It's a good starting point for your adventures! Down side, not many restaurants around it. Excellent staff!

My experience at the Hampton was hard to find fault with. We were quite close to the airport, so when outside there would be planes roaring over loudly, but the soundproofing inside was excellent, so I hardly noticed it. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, accommodations we're clean and comfortable, and breakfast was quite good. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary, and one of the staff members gave us a bottle of wine. We will make sure to stay here on future visits. I had a very pleasant walk around the grounds looking for wildlife. The grounds are well-kept and very appealing. A very pleasant experience.

Excellent service, everyone is super nice and kind. They have free coffee / chocolate / tea 24/7 at the lobby for guests. The pool is not huge but is a nice place! And the breakfast was amazingly good 👌 Super close to the airport too.

This is a clean and modern hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. I was specially pleased with the Neutrogena toiletries. The staff was very efficient and friendly. It is about five minutes from the airport with a free shuttle every 10-15 minutes. It was very quiet despite being so near to the airport and highway, and it was interesting to watch the airplanes taking off from the beautiful grounds. There is also a local train track and we saw the train go by several times.
They offer a free shuttle to Plaza Real Mall in the afternoon, where you can have dinner in a wide variety of restaurants. There is also a good grocery store in this mall, and the room has a fridge and microwave.
It is right next to several rental car companies, a Denny’s, a roasted chicken place and a casino with a very good restaurant bar (Pirates).
Breakfast was good and they offer coffee (excellent), tea, and hot chocolate all day.

We stayed here in September of 2016. The hotel was immaculate!!! Customer customer was amazing!!! The rooms and restrooms were overly clean and comfortable!!! The cleaning and reception staff exhibited excellent customer service!!! The breakfast bar was delicious with plenty of options to fit everyone's taste!!! The kitchen staff was friendly and helpful!!! Great place for couples and families!!! Conveniently located across the street from the airport. Clean and convenient shuttle bus to the airport!!!

Good hotel to be close to the airport whether it's for your first day in Costa Rica or your last night. They have free breakfast which is pretty extensive with hot foods, waffles, fruits, yogurt, juice and coffee. Hot drinks are also available all day which includes coffee, teas and hot chocolate. There's a pool, snack shop and a gift shop onsite. Rooms are spacious and clean.

It's your average American hotel. Great for American tourist that have just landed and has familiar American Restaurants near by. Would recommend for incoming tourist to settle into the new country.

Excellent budget hotel. Perfect for a long term stay when are not going to be in the hotel for the entire day. Good breakfast. Good view. Good restaurants nearby. Very close to the airport and the main Pan American Highway. Free WiFi, Good Pool for a swim. A nice small gym for fitness freaks. The staff is very polite and courteous. Well kept rooms and excellent housekeeping. In house coin Laundry is a big bonus. Large parking for cars.

We've stayed at this hotel in the past and have never had a problem. We booked 2 rooms and when we arrived after driving 4 hours to get here, they wanted identification for our kids who are under 12. But we don't have them with us..so they offer to cancel our reservation for free (really?!?). We DID NOT want to cancel. They cancelled our reservation while we were trying to figure out how to get copies of the passports. They have a sign in the lobby that says MAKING YOU HAPPY MAKES US HAPPY. This was not the case for my family and myself this afternoon. They were rude and did not even try to help. They weren't trying to problem solved. Needless to say this will be the last time we will stay at this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone either.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn on the night I arrived and the night before we flew out of San Jose. It is very convenience since it is only a distance of 2 minutes drive from the airport, therefor the hotel does provide direct shuttle bus service. Staffs were very amiable. The hotel also provide gym services and pool. There are 8 restaurants in the Hotel, and the Fiesta Casino and Pirates Bar is just near by. If you are planning on a Costa Rican vacation and your departure flight is early in the morning, this is a hotel to consider about.

Good hotel, close to the airport and includes free shuttles to and from the airport. Free breakfast, good wifi and good air conditioning. Plenty of restaurants in the area although they were quite expensive. Only stay here upon arriving or before leaving!
