Very lovely Hostel. The breakfast was awesome. The atmosphere and possibilities to hang around where also comfortable. There are three showers with included toilets. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This place seemed great at first; small and cozy, I enjoyed the breakfast, and the cook/cleaning lady is very friendly and easy to talk to. But the manager is pretty rude. Doors needed to be left open even when it’s below 15 degrees. It’s cheap but not worth it. A few of the other guests during my stay had weird interactions. Skip it.

Really nice hostel !
The man in front(the owner?) helped us at everything we asked him!

Best hostel in Costa Rica!! Such a great hostel, feels like a home away from home and so reasonably priced. Clean rooms/dorms, good bathrooms with hot water! The free breakfast is so incredibly good, scrambled eggs/ pancakes and fruit and free really nice coffee all day. Good communal kitchen. The owner, Edwin is so kind and helped us book tours at good prices. He even let us know when the wild Sloth was near the hostel so we could see it and take photos and was genuinely interested in talking to us. Recommend to all!

Great hostel with terrific staff! The owner helped us out with a lot of planning for activities both in Monteverde and Costa Rica. The facility is super clean, quiet and has all the amenities you need. Dorms have their own showers.

Cute, cheap hostel with hot showers, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Nothing fancy but a clean, center of town stay.
