While staying in Drakes Bay we were told we had to eat here, so we had to check it out. We came in off the street and got REALLY lucky that a previous reservation didnt show up and we got their table. It was a right place right time situation. You really need a res here as the proprietor only has enough fish for those that reserve it. We got the platter, the pasta, and the wrap and 3 huge rum smoothies. and they were all fantastic. It was the largest meal we had in costa rica and also the cheapest for the size. I think for everything it only cost ¢33.000, or around $65USD. Check it out if you are visiting the area!

Visited this restaurant last May with a friend. We were surprised by the name
so we thought we would give a try. Small menu but the food is simply delicious and filling. I never tasted better fish in my life. You also get to see beautiful birds feeding on bananas. Curt also showed us some videos of himself and friends swimming with dolphins, they're amazing!

Food is really good and location is quiet cozy as well as Curt is always good to chat with. Make sure you reserve a place before!
BUT he is serving protected fish (like sword fish, tuna, .) - you do not find on any other restaurants in Costa Rica, because it is protected!

Really nice food with fresh fish, direct from the sea. Very welcoming owner, with open minded ! A place to go if you are hungry (huge portion)

Enjoyed a beautiful meal for two in a cosy friendly setting. If you like fish - this is the place to go. Very reasonable prices, great service and great tasting fish! Don't forget to try a 'boozy smoothie'. Would recommend going early ish or book in advance. We didn't have to wait but people who came at 8 did a little bit.

This place is very well known in this town. Not to missed eating here and come early too if not you will have to wait in line. Not only is the food excellent, he also have beautiful slide shows/videos that he took in Drakes Bay. The other good thing about eating here is that you can see the exotic birds while eating cuz Curt has a feeding station he calls it a highway where the birds stop by to have a bite or two. You birds here then anywhere in the park. Small menu with quality food. Curt the owner, will explain to you what fish is available and how he prepares it. Also his smoothies with or without rum is really refreshing. I lost my iPhone 7 on the beach yesterday, I quickly when to see Curt for help, he went above and beyond to help us what to do. Long story short we did find our phone. We would not have found the iPhone without Curt's help. Again, we can't Thank you enough, we sure missed your food, slide shows and your good nature person.

You will come back to this place. We did! The menu is somewhat limited (3 choices), but why should the chef offer more when everyone is happily eating this gems of a meal.
