My friend and I both had a massage from 2 different women. Neither of us enjoyed the experience, it was as if they didn't know what they were doing. We sensed from the moment the massages began that they were not good, and felt like stopping the massage, but was hoping it would get better. On top of that, they charged $40 for an hour, we started at 2:10pm and ended at 2:50! Thankfully they said 20,000 colones (about $35) was fine after we commented on the time. Massages felt rushed, and it was difficult to relax. I don't mind supporting a small company with family, but the time was cut short on top of an unpleasant experience. I don't think these women are trained at all. Disappointing.
