Costa Rican pharmacies stock over the counter medications behind the counter. You speak with the pharmacy technician or pharmacist and they suggest alternatives. This place has English speaking staff and was very helpful. Highly recommended for gringos in Tamarindo.

This place charged me double of the pharmacy near Witch's Rock Surf Camp. Avoid this pharmacy or prepared to get scammed.
