This is a less traveled biological station but wow! the rooms are very up to date with decent amenities. Wifi signal was strong and I was able to catch up with my emails. The best part was that we went on a frog and owl walk and saw a lot of frogs. Motmot, woodpeckers , warblers, parrots flying around the big and well maintained garden. Great place for the ecotourist. The only problem was that we missed the entrance to this place using Waze.

$3 for locals $8 for foreigners to enjoy the day. Peace corps volunteers pay $3. Well worth it! After only a few minutes of entering the grounds we saw a chestnut toucan and a number of other animals (ñeques). It truly has an immense amount of wildlife and it's easy to get around. The tower offers a great way to observe birds from the canopy of the surrounding forest and the botanical garden is teeming with hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. Highly recommended it.

We did a field trip here for a girls empowerment camp and it was a blast! We had a short charla and then did a guided tour of the grounds. It is a beautiful garden and information for people of all ages. Highly recommend this spot!

Grounds were beautiful. Great trails. Signs were very difficult to read. Pamphlet could be improved maybe a bit of an English overview. Good price.

Un lugar de investigación cientÃfica excepcional los jardines brindan la oportunidad de apreciar gran diversidad de especies de flora del neotrópico a la vez, esta flora atrae gran variedad de fauna, especialmente aves e insectos

Nice Botanical gardens with trails, a good place to see native and exotic plants, as well as animals and great for birding. Nice trails and good place to picnic.
