The red snapper fish was definitly the best choice at our table (it was amazing) and the desert was delicious (churros and ice cream).

So everything here was near perfect but awarded 5 stars anyway as the food was just delicious.

The empanada starters are delicious but super filling! I wanted a break between starter and main but it was too late! I guess speedy service is never a bad thing.

The Chilean Pinot noir was fantastic and suited my spicy Thai style beef main. The beef was perfectly cooked and the salad that accompanied was SO fresh and tasty. The cooled noodles were a little odd at first but the whole dish worked superbly together. My only “complaint” was that I couldn’t finish it!! It’s a generous portion of food, so good value for money.

My partner had the seafood linguine and the dish developed and got better as it went on. Some huge green lipped mussels, prawns, clams etc in a tangy, creamy sauce with lovely pasta.

For dessert, a Yorkshire puddings shaped churro filled with ice cream went down a treat. Delicious.

Service was attentive and fast- the ladies ran the show on the floor seamlessly.

We were sat next to a huge group of Americans who were a little inebriated and spreading themselves slowly across the restaurant. It was a little annoying but not enough for this little gem to lose points or take away from the overall lovely experience.

You can email to book which is recommended. Great spot.

Very good, much better than other places on the main street. Tuna tartar is delicate and tasty. Staff is nice and talkative, but I can't talk about the service at the tables because I sat at the bar; recommended.

Despite the fact that the place was packed, the service was quick and very friendly. We had passion fruit caipirinhas, which were very good, and the food was excellent as well. A bit pricey overall, but mostly worth it.

Food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll, filet mignon and breaded chicken. Service was also good. We waited approx 30 mins for a table. Reservations are recommended.

My wife and I checked out this restaurant due to the great reviews and we were not dissapointed. The food from start to finish was absolutely the best we have ever had, no hyperbole. The Red Snapper was melt in your mouth amazing and the Seared Tuna was like candy. Simply the best seafood we have ever tasted. The ambiance, the atmosphere, the service, everything was great. Thank you!!!

Great live music on Saturdays from 7-9, very talented guitarist - just a bit too loud. The food was decent, but not outstanding for the medium prices. We took the two cheaper meals (6.000-7.500CRC), other dishes are more expensive with 15.000+.
The atmosphere is appealing and relaxed. The staff friendly.

Absolutely the best place in Tamarindo. The owner is very nice. Roberto the bartender remembers what you like after the first time. Food is spectacular and drinks are strong. Great place to visit. They now have an Alaskan connection :-)

Seared ahi tuna was the best I had ever had, and our party also got the whole red snapper which was also fantastic. Great selection of cocktails and very friendly service. The restaurant is a sort of indoor/outdoor setting in that it is completely covered but without walls. Fans kept the air moving and it was very pleasant.

The atmosphere is very cute, beautiful lighting in tropical paradise. The food was delicious!! We live in Costa Rica and it is so hard to find really good food. This place surpassed our expectations. I got the lemon chicken, it was tender and moist with just the right amount of lemon and spices. My happens for the Thai beef, perfectly cooked with just a hint of spice. Will definitely come back!!

Great restaurant! It's in a much quieter part of town, and the food was very good. A little more expensive, but I think it was worth it.

Somewhat hidden gem from the main drag and certainly a less busy area. Food and service was very good. Took my sister here for her birthday, she really enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine.
