I cannot praise them enough for my fantastic smile. Dr Marco is AMAZING, as well as his staff..At check in, your greeted with a warm welcome from the "dynamic multi-tasking dynamo Deivy". To the down to earth, smart and funny"The MASTER, Dr Marco" who walks you thru in full detail and fairness, plan of action, and eases any fears you may have. All the assistants/dentists are sweet and friendly, knowledgable. I had the pleasure of working with the ever so gentle, Dr. Garita for my final visit. Wow, he is awesome! The patience, compasion, professionalism I received, still leaves me in awe. I HIGHLY recommend this state of the art dental clinic. Painfree FANTASTIC! Thanks again!!

My wife had full mouth restoration 12 implants 25 crowns,I had two implants two root canals and 8 crowns all for 21000 it was 2014 all is well all work guaranteed for lifeI am proud to call Dr Marco my dentist..Dr Cavallini did my wife’s work

Best dental experience ever. I arrived from Calgary Alberta late January 2017 not knowing what to expect. The waiting room was very busy and full of people from Canada and the United States. I was soon reassured by repeat clients that I was in good hands.
That trip I received 5 implants all on the top and was amazed at how painless it was. They ground down the rest of my upper teeth and fitted me with a set of temporary teeth that they glued in kinda like dentures and sent me home for four months. They worked great!
I went back In early June to have the temps removed and 14 crowns put on and again I was very happy with the whole process. The Dr. that fitted the crowns (Dr. Moreau ? ) did a great job and made sure that I would be happy.
We stayed at their sky apartments across the street and were very happy with the accommodations. We did check out the Bed and Breakfast style hotel upstairs and it was also quite nice.
Dr. Marco gave me a fantastic price and I am and will always be very grateful for his help.
I truly believe that Dr. Marco A. Munoz Peralta cares about his patients and money is not the driving factor.
My wife and I will be going back.

Very professional and my dentist in the US was extremely impressed with the first phase of the dental implant work performed by Dr. Marco. My dentist is so impressed she wants to go with me when I return in December for my final set of upper and lowers. She wants to visit with him and see his facilities so she can start referring some of her patients to him.

It has been a few years since having extensive work done by Dr. Marco and his team here. I had pretty extensive (fillings, crowns, root canals, caps, cleaning, whitening, etc.) from years of not taking care of my teeth. When I originally went, I went because I simply literally could not afford the 12K+ bill in Clearwater, Florida. I checked his reviews and none seemed too bad since his total price for service was $2,475.00 and my flights are $300+/- from Florida. He probably can do a 10 times better job than the best dentist near you. He owns the labs and everything, and it is all incredibly high quality when you compare against American or Canadian standards.
So I got there and yes, they are busy constantly. Big surprise, I am not the only one who would like beyond excellent dental work for next to nothing The service, workmanship, care, and precision of him and his entire staff are beyond compare. I was no longer in pain and had an excellent looking mouth upon coming back to Florida.
Unfortunately, San Jose, Costa Rica is not a great place to go. One trip Most of the people you will encounter will try to rip you off if you are not costa rican. It is best to rent a car as trust me, it will be cheaper. A nice hotel runs $55-$65 in San Jose, Costa Rica if you contact them DIRECTLY. Average college graduate income in Costa Rica is $600 monthly, so no, $35+ for a short taxi ride is not reasonable. You must use common sense when dealing with (irrational) locals in this part of the world. This information they will not tell you, as everybody will try to inflate your prices as high as possible for virtually everything that should cost next to nothing. The local taxi drivers do not know where virtually anything is, and will charge you prices you never agreed to as they waste your vacation time driving in circles. The "trusted drivers" recommended by everyone and anyone because they get a kickback are no better. Use this same theory with anywhere, unless you pick the exact place. They will tell you wherever you are headed is not safe, closed today, closed down, or whatever to get a kickback from some other place. To be very brief, do not trust the locals at all even while you are staring at them. There are no exceptions to this rule. Avoiding (Taxis, trusted drivers, Uber, etc.) will solve 90%+ of any issues and unforeseen expenses you could have in Costa Rica. Then remember everything is negotiable!
As, far as the dental cost, service, and quality at Cavallini, you can trust me that it will be a truly wonderful experience even looking back years later. You will definitely be very satisfied with the work. I just booked time to go again, as I have done some damage, and am wanting some veneers. Their prices have inched up a bit, but still pretty reasonable.response / report this review -

After making an appointment several months in advance and flying to Costa Rica, they informed me that I had never made an appointment. When I showed them the email confirmation they had sent to me, they refused to honor the appointment, and told me I could make a new one in several weeks. They were exceedingly rude about it. I gave up and called New Smile who took me that same day! Be warned, you could make an appointment here and book travel and then they might cancel everything on you at the last minute wasting your travel expenses!!!

Excellent work, done quickly, at a very good price.
You can stay upstairs in their 12 room b&b, where you will meet quite a few other patients.
The staff for the practice and the b&b are there to provide kindly service.
The local food and shopping is wonderful. And there are numerous tours of Costa Rica available.response / report this review -

I can't tell you what an amazing experience visiting Dr. Marco was for me. I have struggled to catch up with years of dental suffering after a number of budget, botched procedures in the United States. Making the decision to go and see Dr. Marco changed my life and saved me thousands of dollars; plus I got a vacation out of it. Pack your patience and make friends with the loads of interesting folks that you will meet from all over the globe while you are in the office. There is a great amount of waiting so you should go in prepared for that. I am about to return for my final visit and very much looking forward to it. If you are considering dental work with Dr. Marco, take the leap, you are in good hands.

Highly recommend! Dr. Marco is wonderful and can do implants in his sleep he's done so many and he guarantees his work and stands behind it. Imagine that!! One stop shopping as they do everything there at a cost I could afford. They have a team of doctors and professionals to take you through each stage of the process. Doing it in the states was out of reach in price for me. I'm grateful I found Dr. Marco!
