Terrible lunch and dinner. Food was dry and tasted like rubber. Go to the other restaurants if you need a place near the airport.

Good place to go to with family and friends. Very good service and very friendly staff. Big food portions so you have to be prepared to eat. The menu is varied and has healthy options. The location is great. There are also great views of the surrounding mountains. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey.

It has refill!!!! Dont go for the soup of the day I took the Clam Chowder and it was mushy and lukewarm yikes!! It seems that it was warming all day, fish burguers and chicken are fresh and delicious salads also are healthy and clean grand slams are about the same of any other dennnys.

Its a Denny’s so you know what you are getting. Convenient to the Hampton inn and holiday inn express, but pricey. My shake was $9 and the kids shakes were $6. Good if you don’t want to have to get a taxi.

A little taste of breakfast from home, on a long trip across the country. They're a great place to find your shuttle through the country

clean place, good service, most of the food is pretty good. Gallo pinto not as good as local restaurants. Open 24/7 and very close to the airport. Nice Denny's overall! Better than those in the US :)

Tried it twice because it was next to my hotel. This review is for the Denny's in San Jose, Costa Rica near the airport. I don't expect alot from Denny's in the first place. Just a cheap meal that tastes decent. Both times I went to this Dennys it was a long wait for food both times. The second time i seen my order sitting on the warmer for about 10 min while the waitress's were all chatting in the corner. It was pretty bad tasting but I choked it down anyways. It is expensive compared to other restaurants. My opinion, stay away! Talked to alot of tourists around the hotel while I was staying there for a month. 9/10 were really unhappy with the food, price and service.

I ordered a really simple burger and it was not good at all. The bun was all wet and it was horrible. I know it seems comforting to see a banner you know when you get out of the airport, but don't go there. The prices are higher than what you would see anywhere in northern America

Bit pricey. Comfortable, good meals, good selection, reasonable service. Sometimes don't have items offered on menu.

The food is pricey, but its by hotels and international airport, so it is expected. The food and service was awesome, especially after a long drive. Our waiter, Ricardo, was super nice and attentive. Not a big fan of Denny's in general, but this is a good one.

Located near airport. Same food as every other Denny's in the US, but at double the price. Good for tourists that really miss a US meal.

Poor service and high prices for average food. The waiter never checked back with us after serving the food. Way after the meal was over and he was picking up the dishes, he asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee. Too late, we were more than ready to leave, having waited a while at this point. Then we waited and waited to get our billno luck. Finally, out of desperation, we just went to their front counter and said we wanted to pay, but had no check. There were 4 of us and the bill was separate per couple. Our part was $32.00 for 2 breakfast items: a waffle slam and an omelet (high prices). The next blow came when they would not take a $50.00 or $100.00 bill. I understand the $100.00, but to not take a $50.00 bill for a $32.00 check is ludicrous! He kept saying I could go to the casino next door to get it cashed, but I do not go to casinos. I come to Costa Rica often. This was my first and last experience with Denny's here. Pura Vida!

I love this Denny's. The food is always great. It is a little more expensive then local places but you get what you pay for. The service is always wonderful and the people are friendly and all speak English. Since Reynaldo has been the manager this place is head-and-shoulders above all the other Denny's in Costa Rica probably even in the United States.

Denny is one of the restaurant near the SJO airport. Next to the Holiday Inn Express. It is open 24 hours. If you miss the taste of USA, this is the place to visit. Chance to have regular breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, also yogurt and fish and chips… A bit pricy, twice as high in the US and thrice times more higher than the local. Ordered a double cheese burger and a club house with free refill fuzz tea, the final bill cost over $400 but 13% tax and 10% food tip included. I would suggest to pay with Colones, instead of USA dollars or by card, better rate. Last but not least, taste was decent and proportion was generous :)

Huge variety. Good food. Open 24/7. They keep it pretty cold inside so you may want a jacket.

Well, it is like the original Denny's, the service is good and the coffee keeps coming. The only thing though, the place is very expensive for it's name.
