  Comfortable seating in a casual, modern environment, Congo Café is the epitome of come in and relax.
  
  With a large selection of in house coffee and coffee based drinks, homemade pastries that are to die for, and a large breakfast and lunch selection, you will find anything from a full meal to a coffee and pastry here.

  This in located inside a shopping center by the auto-mercado. Its a Combination Gift shop and Cafe. The Gift Shop has a nice selection interesting items, some from local artists and the employees are super friendly . The Cafe prices are very reasonable and all the employees are super nice and mostly bi-lingual. They offer breakfast, appetizers, and sandwiches. They also have coffee drinks and smoothies. Every thing we had here was very good. Best thing was they were about 1/2 price of most other restaurants we went to. This seems to be the expat real estate hang out as there were several rental conversations going on while we were there.

  This was my favorite place in Playa del Coco - genuine and tasty. Nice people & loads of beautiful handmade items to purchase. They had great food, excellent coffee - plan to visit this nice little place!
