Absolutely the perfect tropical getaway!! The house was perfect, very nicely outfitted with everything we needed. Samara is an excellent little town away from the big tourist towns. The people in Samara are very friendly, very patient with my broken Spanish. Samara is a very safe and family friendly place to visit. The beaches are beautiful, the restaurants are excellent and the tropical drinks are awesome. This is the perfect place if you are looking to get off the grid for a real vacation!

Great property- very comfortable place with a large backyard pool area, a short walk to two stunning beaches and close to Samara which is a small, authentic Costa Rican town featuring great restaurants and a nice sleepy vibe. The house is also located within a very short walk to two boutique hotels, both which have excellent restaurants. Well kept, large home in a nice area of Costa Rica. Make sure to spend time body surfing at Carillo beach, check out zip lining near Nosara, take a backroads drive to Islita and just enjoy.Great experience-we will be back.

Casa Pacifica is literally the perfect vacation place. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, from cooking our own ceviche in the well equipped kitchen to lounging peacefully by the pool and watching the howler monkeys work their way through the trees. We made ceviche from fish we caught that day on a boat recommended by Paul (the owner of Casa Pacifica), from a boat we walked to from the house. Great fun fishing - I'm not a seasoned fisherman however thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The beach is a few minutes walk away - the calm, warm water was perfect for swimming, kayaking and snorkeling (thanks for having the kayaks available - we used them several times!). We walked to town on the beach, which was both easily accessible and a very enjoyable walk. Food in town was excellent, and inexpensive - lunch at Locanda several times. El Lagarto for dinner was one of the most enjoyable meals I've had - ask for the wood plates. We surfed - well, stood up on surf boards and called it surfing. May need lesson next time. We rented ATV's from town and explored the hills as well as a few rivers and had a tremendously fun day. The house was the perfect setting to return to after full, active days. The beds were comfortable, the house pristine and the surroundings calm and peaceful. This trip was with friends, and was perfect - the next will be with my family since I will definitely return.
